If you’ve been looking for a fun kid-friendly drink to celebrate Valentine’s day, this is it! This darling conversation heart sherbet float is fruity and yummy and right on the color scheme for your little valentines! The candy topping was my kids favorite, they loved seeing the candies floating!
Conversation Heart Sherbet Float
- 3 Ounces Sprite or Lemon Lime Soda
- 1 Candy Heart
- 1 Drop Red Food Coloring
- 1 Teaspoon Half & Half
- 1/2 Cup Strawberry or Raspberry Sherbet
- 1/2 Teaspoon Pink Sprinkles
Pour soda into a small container.
Add one drop of red food coloring to soda and half and half. Stir gently.
Pour into glass, but leave enough room for toppings.
Add sherbet to soda mixture.
Place one candy heart in the center of the glass on top of the sherbet.
Top with sprinkles.
The half and half makes it easy to color this fun punch to a pretty color with just a drop or two of food coloring that makes the punch perfect for your holiday celebrations. Plus, it gives it almost an Italian soda flair that is so yummy for the punch!
Let the kids add their own candy and sprinkle toppings to get the kids involved in helping make their own punch creations. I love the combination of sprite and sherbet that makes a creamy drink. It’s completely kid-friendly and alcohol-free so the whole family can enjoy it!
